21/02/2018

149 proposals presented within the Participatory Budgets of the municipality.

The city of Granollers is carrying out a participatory process through which citizens will propose and decide what is allocated one million euros from the 2018-2019 municipal budgets (€ 500,000 in each budget year). Last Sunday the Proposal Submission phase ended with a total of 149 ideas to improve the city.

Starting this week, a group of municipal technicians will analyze the proposals presented and evaluate their viability. In order to promote civic and social values and the improvement of cohesion and citizen coexistence, projects that propose improvements in the areas of gender equality, sustainability, intergenerational or intercultural coexistence will have priority.

Finalist proposals will be announced few weeks before the final vote stage of the process. All people registered in Granollers and over 16 years old will be able to vote on the five projects they like the most. Subsequently, the Commission of Participation of the Consell de Ciutat will monitor that the municipality executes the most voted proposals.

You can vote through the web https://www.civiciti.com/es/granollers or in the points enabled for this in the Office of Attention to the Citizen and in the Civic Centers.
