Photos

How do I upload a profile picture?

Once you’re signed into Civiciti, click on My Profile, located at the top right of your screen. Navigate to Profile from your Activity page, then click on Upload a Photo. Choose a photo from your device, and crop it if you wish. Click on Save to finish setting your profile picture.

I can’t upload a profile picture.

Make sure you’re signed in to the official Civiciti app, and check that your photo file type, size and dimensions are compatible. The recommended size is 140*140. Make sure you click Save, to set the photo as your profile picture.

What kind of profile pictures can I upload?

You can upload any picture if it isn’t offensive and respects our Terms of Use.

How do I change my profile picture?

Click on the “edit my profile picture” option on the user profile page and upload a picture directly from your device.

How do I delete my profile picture?

You can change your profile picture; there is currently no option to delete it.

 

 

Activity

Is it possible to see a list of what I’ve done in the platform?

Yes.  You can see a list of your activities on Civiciti in your Activity page. You can access it by clicking on My Profile, located at the top right of your screen after you sign into Civiciti.

One or several actions I’ve taken in Civiciti are not displayed in the Activity

Moderated posts (Cards and Comments) aren’t displayed in the Activity page. If you don’t see these posts in your Activity page, it is likely that the City Admin moderated them.

 

 

Email and password

How do I change my password?

Click on My Profile, located at the top right of your screen after signing into Civiciti. Click on Profile from your Activity page, then navigate to Registration Information. Select Change Password, insert your old and new password and click Save.

I want to change my email address. Should I register again?

No, you can just change your email address from your profile. Remember, once you change your email address, your username to access your Civiciti account will be the new email address.

How do I change my email address?

Click on My Profile, located at the top right of your screen after signing into Civiciti. Click on Profile from your Activity page, then navigate to Registration Information. You have an option to edit your email address. Click on Save after editing your email address.

 

 

Language

How can I change Civiciti language?

Click on the arrow at the top right of your screen. Select a language from the list. Remember, posts content won’t be translated.

My language isn’t listed.

Civiciti is currently available in Spanish, Catalan, and English.  We’re currently working to add more languages.

The language change didn’t work.

Remember, the content uploaded by the users stays in the original language. Only the system text of the page, such as button and settings, will be translated.

 

 

Editing my profile

How do I write some information about myself?

Click on My Profile, located at the top right of your screen after signing into Civiciti. Click on Profile from your Activity page, then write what you wish other users to know about you in the text box and Save.

What should I tell about myself?

You can share something about your civic interests and causes, what led you to join Civciti, etc.
